- Five very busy emergency departments, with double coverage 12-16
hours per day. Average less than 2.5 patients per hour.
- Fair, flexible scheduling, with ability to work 12-18 shifts per month. Most
shifts are 10-hours. No seniority system.
- Emergency departments are strategically located throughout San
Antonio. Physicians work at all five hospitals to prevent “burn out”.
- EM residency trained and/or board certified should apply.
- Independent contractor physician status. Fee for service reimbursement.
Physician owns their accounts receivables.
- Team players with hospital. Extensive hospital committee involvement.
- Locally owned and operated EM Management Company for over 30
years.
